Honestly, it would probably be more engaging to begin with loads of pictures from Alaska, St. John, and the U.K, but I will start by introducing myself before scaring you off with pictures of bears. Here we go… My name is Mary Hudson and I’m a young finance professional looking for some adventures. While I love my job and can certainly nerd-out over software and systems such as Excel and Power-BI, I also have a great desire to travel and see creation from sky to mountains to sea. So, if you’re interested in a blog of someone who over-researches their trips and drags her parents along on adventures then you may wish to continue reading this and future posts.
I graduated college with my degree in finance in December of 2022 and immediately begin marking time off on my work calendar for my adventures. First stop, Alaska. Where else can you experience such magnificent creation? Turns out, there’s a whole planet, but we’ll start small. For the start of my travel blog, I’m going to work backwards through my trips starting with my dad’s bucket-list spot of Alaska. But don’t worry, it’s not all mountains and moose, I’ll also share about snorkeling in St. John and Cozumel, viewing history in London and Edinburgh, and possibly share some local destinations near my home state of North Carolina.
If you stayed, thanks for reading. I look forward to sharing about my research process, planning and booking trips, and much more! For itineraries, follow this link: The Lost Hobbit – Payhip.
Below are a few photos that really show the glory of creation. “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”- Isaiah 6:3.
